This lower tooth had recession which was slowly getting worse. There were 3 issues. 1) Recession causing the root to show 2) A lack of gum tissue that remained 3) The presence of a frenum (fibrous tissue that is connected from the gums to the lip).

All 3 issues are corrected in one procedure. Complete root coverage is obtained. There is an adequate amount of gum tissue. The frenum attachment that used to exist (near the bottom of the previous picture) has been eliminated.
