I started getting daily headaches that were pretty severe. Robert was my dentist and started working with my bite using biofeedback information and figured out where my bite needed to be in order for my jaw and cranial muscles to stop constantly "firing". With countless visits to carefully and skillfully adjust a mouthguard he was successful in relieving my headaches and minimizing my jaw clenching and grinding. With such incredible results and feeling genuinely cared for throughout the process, I had no reservations about going ahead with the orthodontic work with Dan. He put on braces in order to shift my bite permanently into its best position. Not only did Dan explain his rationale for why and how he moved my teeth, but also how interconnected my dental health is with many other aspects of life. I completlely trust both Robert and Dan as my dental professionals and respect them greatly. They have helped improve my quality of life extrodainarily, and I cannot thank them enough.

About Hygienist: I have had the privilege of having Jennifer at the Sellwood office as my hygienist for 7 years. She is kind, observant, and gives the most thourough teeth cleanings I've ever had. I don't think my teeth were ever "really" cleaned until Jen. I love how they feel when I leave her!

Having had a variety of professional dental services provided by Dr. Dan and Robert Rodriguez, I can sincerely state that they are both extremely professional, competent, and proficient at their profession/craft. Be it the replacement of a crown, a root canal, and/or TMD "therapy", both doctors make every effort to provide a plan of care that will ultimately produce the desired outcome; it isn't time dependent, but results dependent in terms of when treatment is considered complete.

Their manners are those of a genuinely concerned individuals taking an interest in the "whole" and not just the "part." Consequently, they relate well to their patients and offer a kind and generous demeanor with an accompanying excellent sense of humor.

Anecdotally speaking...I have had a couple, if not several dental emergencies in which I had to place emergency calls post office hours. In each case my phone call was returned by the dentist that was addressing my specific dental needs. And yes, the phone call was returned very quickly with the dentist either seeing me ASAP and/or providing the necessary pharmaceuticals and referral to a specialist.

About Hygienist: Both hygienists that have cleaned my teeth have provided thorough cleanings paying attention to my level of comfort throughout the process. I have always been very pleased with the process and outcome.

Dan & Robert are two of the outstanding young dentists in the area. Over the years (49), I've had numerous problems with my teeth. Robert has been able to not only take care on current needs, but has repaired the work of other dentists. The staff at RHD are some of the most delightful people you'd ever want to meet. They are well qualified and a lot of fun to be with. For the last 8 years my wife, 2 sons, and I have been well taken care of by RHD.

Both Dr. Robert and Dr. Dan are very welcoming and make you feel comfortable the moment you step into their office. They are both very knowledgable and careful in explaining the recommended treatment for you. If you have an emergency, they will go out of their way, whether on weekends or at night, to make sure you are treated properly. Dr. Robert is great with kids. All my friends who I have referred cannot believe how Dr. Robert instantly connects with their children and helps them relax during their treatments. Dr. Dan provided orthodontia treatment for both my daughters, one with traditional braces and one with Invisalign. He explained the process clearly and was very thoughtful and patient throughout. My daughters were very happy with the end result. I would definitely recommend Raleigh Hills Dental.

Dr. Dan Rodriguez from the miunte we walked in displayed an understanding of orthodontics well beyond the cosmetic. I was recommended by a friend to bring my children there for pre-orthodontic treatment. Making that appointment was the best thing I could have done for my kids. We left there with a complete understanding of why we should do "PRE" ortho treatment and how that would help them in the long run beyond their smile. Dr. Dan takes the whole picture in...he explains how the whole body works together. It was very informative...this was 4 years ago and the kids have loved seeing Dan and have successfully done their pre treatment and will now have a very short time in braces.

I started to go to Doctor Dan Rodriguez in 2004. I was visiting Portland, from California and developed a problem. He not only resolved my problem, but, pointed out situations with my teeth that over the years had not been attened to properly. I returned to California and found what Doctor Dan Rodriguez said was true. I returned to Portland for the next few years, for regular appointments, and, corrected all the problems with my teeth that had occurrred over the years, all over the world, with various dentists that were not of the quality of Doctor Dan Rodriguez.

In 2006 I had my then 7 year old son have an appointment while in Portland. I was amazed at how well Doctor Dan Rodriguez was able to take care of this ''impossible child'' in the dentist chair. It was truly amazing.

My son and i moved from California, to Florida in 2007 and we both continue to return to Portland, Oregon for all our dental care. This, you might think is costly, but, in retrospect, the correct dentistry I have obtained for myself and my son, from Doctor Dan Rodreguez, has saved me litterally thousands in cost, not to mention not losing teeth that were on the brink, due to poor selction of dentists in my past. He is my dentist for life.

About Hygienist: Outstanding, as are all that Doctor Dan Rodriguez has in his practice. The Hygienist not only takes care of cleaning, but, educates as well. This has been of great value to me, and my young son, in learning how properly to take care of ones teeth.

Without being overly dramatic, I must say the treatment i have received from Dr. Dan has been almost life changing. I had been suffering from serious TMD problems that I had figured were not too "fixable". But luckily, I brought them up to a friend of mine who excitedly alerted me that her dentists not only dealt with TMD issues, but also were the coolest dentists ever. Usually I don't take these claims too seriously but it was worth trying if my troubles really could be lessened or even cured. Long story short, she wasn't kidding. I have had nothing less than a great experience at Raleigh Hills with Dr. Dan. I went from having serious headaches and serious jaw pain a few times a week to now once maybe every few months, but basically never in comparison. I think the most impressive part of my process has been learning how to help myself beyond the dentist chair. Dr. Dan has taught me helpful techniques in conjunction with the treatment process. It truly is nice to be with a doctor that truly cares this much about "fixing" me. The best part is not feeling nickel and dimed - I paid up front and every visit since I don't even carry my wallet in with me. It's about the patient getting better, not about making money!

They are the best dentist ever! My family and I have had all great experiences with them since I've been a patient. The dr's and staff are very caring, friendly and personalities are awesome. We talk, laugh, and joke, which makes the visit much more comfortable. Their office is very impressive, clean, nice, relaxed, and up to date. Appointments are always easy to get, and absolutely no waiting when you check in - very professional and organized.

On a personal note:

Prior to becoming a patient I had the worst phobia ever! I think I would be classified as "A dr's nightmare." Since I started to see them I have gotten over my fear, and I don't mind a dental visit - actually I look forward to it now. Because I've never experienced any pain, difficulties, or complications my phobia gone and I'm comfortable with them. The dr's are honest and explain what they are doing throughout the whole process. I'm always satisfied with the work and experience when I leave.

Our family has had extensive work done by both doctors and the results have been exceptional. Extractions, root canals, fillings and help with migrane headaches. The procedures are explained clearly, the cost covered prior to the work and the follow-up care has been tremendous. My daughter developed an infection over a weekend and Dr. Robert met us on a Sunday at 4:00pm to treat her. Both doctors return calls in a timely manner and are always POSITIVE. The staff is professional, attentive and qualified. Both doctors stay current on dental and medical information, and this is encouraging if you have complicated dental issues (as our family does). Dr. Dan also has an exceptional understanding of migrane issues, TMJ and the interaction of the jaw, neck, head and posture.

I've been going to Raleigh Hills Dental and seeing Dr Dan and Dr Robert since they opened around 2000. I am very particular about the care of my teeth and the doctors have exceeded my expectations. From our discussions and my experiences, I know they are well trained and continue to update their training yearly. I refer my family and friends to Dr Dan and Dr Robert every opportunity I get. During my last appointment for some replacement fillings I nearly fell asleep I was so comfortable. How many can say that about their Dentist?!

I can't say enough great things about Raleigh Hills Dental and Dr. Robert & Dan Rodriquez! If you were like I use to be (afraid to go to the dentist) or ever had a bad experience you owe it to yourself to see these guys, as they are the best I've ever been to! I actually enjoy going to the dentist now thanks to these guys.

I have tried several dentist over the last 30 years and these guy are by far the best. It is totally painless and they are so patient and gentle it's amazing. All of my friends now go see them for all of their dental work.

Their staff is also just wonderful and they live and breathe customer service and putting the patient needs first. They really care about you and the quality of work they perform.

They don't just rush you in and out, but take their time and make sure you are comfortable and not in pain while doing procedures.

I have sent at least 30 friends to them as well as my family and everyone loves them. I knew they were great when my kids asked to go back and see Robert and Danny. My oldest son thinks so highly of them (he's 13) that now he wants to become a dentist.

I usually would never give anyone a perfect score, but these guys get a 10 out of 10 in my book!

About Hygienist: Frank: The most gentle hygienist I've ever been to and while it may take a couple of extra minutes (because he makes sure he takes his time and you are not in pain) it is so worth it. I use to hate getting my teeth cleaned (it hurt), but I have never been in pain with Frank and he's awesome!!!
