Patient Review 1:

I have know Dan for about 13 years. I was deathly afaird of dentist. I had a lot of dental work done in the past and it started to fail. Because Dr Dan was a past client of mine and someone I trusted, I went to him for help. Bottom line, Dr Dan rebuilt my mouth. I now have the smile I use to dream about. If you have ever been self concious about your smile...you need to talk to Dr. Dan. We are in the final stages of finishing the project. I had numerous extractions and 7 implants, Dan and his team were caring, kind and upbeat. He always listened, he always made me feel like I was the most important client he had. Dr Dan explained the process and I felt extremely comfortable asking questions and learning. The team Dan has put together is AWESOME. Looking back I remember only the good. As I am writing this I am trying to remember the uncomfortableness, pain, etc...if there was any it is forgotten by my beautiful smile. If you are looking for a Dentist who cares, who listens, you owe it to yourself to call Dr. Dan and talk with him...I can say with confidence there is no one better!

For the first time in my life I have a dentist that I feel comfortable with. (Ive been to 6 different dentists and I'm only thirty.) One would think that finding a good dentist would be easy but you have to feel good about the care you are getting. It is not only about teeth. I used to start sweating the minute I woke up on dental visit days, and the door to the office always felt much heavier than it should. I dreaded the whole experience.

It took a while to find Dr. Blickenstaff (called him with a major dental crisis when the office my family went to was closed for the week) but I am happy I did. They got me in that day and now my confidence, as far as my mouth goes, is in good shape.

Not only is Dr. Blickenstaff the best dentist, he is also a good person who really does care about his patients and their comfort. All the really cool staff that work with him are a bonus too. My husband and I feel lucky to have Dr. Blickenstaff as our dentist.

Thanks Dr. Dan and all of you who help him to be one of my favorite people. It is nice to know we have the best Dental Team out there and much success to you all. You are very deserving of a really good review.

Dr. Dan and his entire staff almost literally held my hand through the process.

I had neglected my teeth for years and was embarassed to go the the dentist and afraid of what he might find. The work that needed to be done was minimal, and didn't break the bank.

I had a tooth colored crown done on one of my back teeth and a cleaning that required 2 vistits (It had been 10+years) and had trays made for whitening at home. My teeth look great and everyone comments on them.

I have recommended him to co-workers and they think he is the greatest!

About Hygienist: Cori, the hygienist was sooo nice and gentle. She took the time to show my how to brush and floss properly. My teeth squeak:)

Dr Blickenstaff ahs been wonderful he has correctly identified the source of my pain and done the corrective measures painlessly!! He also suggested the invisalign braces which i was a little skeptical but turned out to be great!! I would strongly recommend Dr Blickenstaff for all future visits!

After reviewing Doctor Oogle, because my old dentist retired, I went to Dr. Blickenstaff this week for an emergency tooth ache and he fit me in on the day I called, he fixed the pain, and then today he did a root canal that was totally painless. He is soooo gentle with the needle that I felt nothing. This is a real professional office with friendly, caring personel. Dr. Blickenstaff has all the latest technology including Visalign which I intend to use for my long awaited straigtening of my teeth. I highly recommend this dentist and know you will enjoy the staff and the latest technology that makes your experience a pleasant and rewarding one.

I went to Dr Blickenstaff as a new patient recently, and could not have been happier with the results. Being nervous and all, I was the guinea pig for our family--turns out we all like them. They are very knowlegable, friendly, and funnier than heck!!! I laughed the entire time I was in the chair--very comfortable place--that hygeinist is so gentle and thorough too. The front desk manager explains the billing very well, everything was so clear --she is sharp! Thanks for a great experience.

I suffer from 3 kinds of Arthritis which has left me in a wheelchair. I take very strong medications to suppress my immune system, which has caused the diseases. I have never met a dentist who understood the challenges I face with pain and crippling, which has kept me from seeing dentists very often. I also have Sjogrens, a dental condition caused by dry mouth, a side effect of my drugs. I have spent mucho $$$ for crowns that just fall out! I am also terrified of the dentist. I bear pain from Arthritis without complaint but dentists scare me to death!. I tell you all of this to set you up for my review of this wonderful man and his fabulous staff! I needed to have a molar extracted and had put it off , but the pain became too difficult to manage.

Dr. Blickenstaff is the first dentist that actually took the time to understand all my problems and to treat me with no judgement, only kindness and respect. I am new to Oregon and just found him on the net. He is great and his staff is wonderful! I felt so well cared for that I forgot all my fears. It was expensive, but it was less expensive than an oral surgeon. Now I intend to finally get my teeth in top shape and will almost enjoy it! Almost...! Anita Johnson Lake Oswego, OR

I have been a very happy patient of Dr Dan's for several years now. He is the best dentist I've ever visited. I have never experienced any discomfort during a procedure (I've had it all-

cleaning, fillings, root canals and crowns) In fact he has had to repair/replace several crowns that I had done somewhere else that were giving me trouble and he did an excellent job. I have never liked going to the dentist and especially disliked the 'drill'- but Dr Dan has dealt with me in a very professional and compassionate manner and I no longer have a problem with anything he might need to do. His entire staff is friendly, helpful and compassionate. I highly recommend him to all of my friends and family.

I don't like to give endorsements, but I had to write about this place. Dr. B and his staff made my anxiety and stress melt away. They were excellent from beginning to end. Not only did they explain everything to me, they were clear about my options and made me feel like I had choices in the decisions and direction of my treatment. Before I left EVERY piece of information regarding fees, dental insurance and payments was explained and discussed. I even called back later with a question about my benefits, (which I know I could have called my Insurance myself to get an answer) ...they cheerfully answered it for me. Throughout the whole process the assistant, hygeinist and Doctor made me feel VERY comfortable. I will refer all of my friends and clients to this office. I felt like I was visiting an old friend. It isn't clinical or sterile at all. To sum up - Clean, Caring, Concise and Comfortable. Thanks for taking the time to help me have confidence in visiting the dentist finally. I actually look forward to my next visit! Ha! go figure!

Dr. Blickenstaff is simply the best dentist I have ever visited. We did a root canal in 60 minutes flat with zero pain during -and- after. I was highly impressed with his assitant Holly, who I felt probably could have done the procedure on her own. It's a little spendy- even with my insurance a crown and R/C was around 5-600 bucks out of pocket- but I'm very happy with the treatment and facilities and will always avail myself of both.

OH MY GOSH!!!!!! WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE! NOT ONLY WAS DR B AND HIS STAFF FRIENDLY AND THOUROUGH--I AM NOW THANKFULLY GETTING MY TEETH STRAIGHTENED *THE INVISIBLE WAY* WITH INVISALIGN!!!!! I NEVER KNEW IT COULD BE SO EASY.

THIS WAS THE MOST RELAXING,EASYGOING. NON STRESSFUL DENTAL VISIT I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. I RECOMEND EVERYBODY TO GO IF YOU CAN. THE COST MAY BE A LITTLE HIGHER THAN OTHER PRACTICES BUT ANYTHING EXTRA IS WORTH IT IT WITH THE CARE & CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU RECIEVE. THEY REALLY CARE ABOUT HOW COMFORTABLE YOU ARE . Although I asked the Dr. to use a lab that I had picked and he was not familiar with, he was very pleasant about it. His work was excellent! I am a big baby about being seen by the dentist, however every visit I have had with Dr. Dan has been met with great results. My crowns and veneers look wonderful.

His staff is top notch and very customer service oriented. I appreciate that they took the time needed to make me feel comfortable, explained procedures and $$$ with me and were gentle.

Thanks Dr. Dan and team for making dentistry less anxiety inducing for me. I will recommend this practice to all my friends and relatives!

I appreciate the time that Dr. Dan and his staff spent on a first visit, and the gentle treatment that he and his hygienist provided. I was able to get an appointment the very next day, and they did a thorough evaluation, x-rays (including a "panorama" x-ray with an expensive piece of equipment). They even allowed enough time to have the hygienest do cleaning and scaling on the first visit, instead of having to schedule a distant appointment just for the cleaning. The hygienist was very gentle and did an excellent job. Being the type that dislikes going to the dentist, Dr. Dan's excellent care and modern facilities made me feel at ease. I scheduled an appointment for my wife who has a real fear of dentistry for next

week.
